The music on your wedding day is a deeply personal and integral part of the ceremony and beyond. Whether spiritual and sacred or quirky and eclectic, music is the language of love and can be the catalyst to transform your special day into a truly memorable occasion.

Having a wide musical remit, Brendan can accommodate virtually any request. Lyric and/or operatic pieces, sacred and religious music, show tunes and popular songs are all elements from which Brendan draws his repertoire.
Accompaniment is usually in the form of specially commissioned backing tracks to which Brendan performs live. The decision to use this method allows Brendan to considerably reduce the cost to you and to provide a truly professional and enchanting experience. Various forms of accompaniment are available, from full orchestral right through to simple piano or organ and voice. Listen to some samples of Brendan's wedding songs.

However, should you wish to have an accompanist on the day, Brendan has extensive contacts with many exceptional musicians both locally and nationally. Brendan also works closely with some of Waterford’s most talented sopranos should you require a duet.

As your guests leave the church and make their way to the hotel, an excellent way to create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere is to have some smooth jazz and easy listening music to greet them as they arrive.

From Sinatra to Sammy, Elton to The Eagles (and everywhere in between), Brendan will provide the perfect ambience for your guests to relax, unwind and mingle before dinner. 

An alternative to this is to have Brendan perform during your meal. As a regular performer in hotels and restaurants around the country, Brendan is adept at maintaining just the right musical balance (and volume!) to ensure a delightful atmosphere.

The Suzuki Method, developed by Shin'ichi Suzuki in the mid-20th century, is a method of music instruction based on his observations that enviroment plays an enormous role in the success of a child's learning ability. Dr. Suzuki reasoned that, just as a child can learn his/her native language to a highly proficient degree at an early stage by simply being immersed in the culture, so too can children learn a musical instrument by being surrounded by an enviroment in which music plays a large part. After all, music is a universal language and the enjoyment and performance thereof is a basic human trait.

The Suzuki Method was first developed for the violin but has since been expanded to encompass a large range of instuments including piano, cello, flute, voice and, more recently, the guitar.
